Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a perfectly natural state. Everybody enters Hypnosis in everyday life, when watching TV for example or reading a book. When driving you may reach your destination but don't remember the journey. The subconsious of your mind takes control, while your conscious mind is busy with something else.
During a Hypnotherapy session the state of Hypnosis is induced by the Hypnotherapist with the aid of soothing music and calm, relaxing talking. People often have a sense of deep calmness and relaxation.
The conscious mind can then be bypassed, allowing access to the subconscious mind. This allows positive changes to be made.
Whilst in hypnosis awareness or control is not lost,in fact there is a heightened mental awareness and nobody can be hypnotised unless they want to be.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
CBT can help you to change how you think ("Cognitive") and what you do ("Behaviour)".
CBT is a flexible approach in changing negative ways of thinking and feeling. It is not the events themselves, purely the meaning a person gives them. These negative thought patterns that build over time, become a belief system and fail to change.
Self Help Assignments, self help strategies and better coping skills are all vital parts of the therapy which significantly reduces relapse rates.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
EFT (Tapping) works by gently tapping on specific acupuncture points with your fingers while mentally focusing on a specific problem or issue.
Using this simple, easy to learn technique can eliminate or significantly reduce negative feelings and limiting beleifs - often in a very short time.
As well as at my clinic EFT can also be carried out over the telephone enabling clients to benefit from EFT anywhere in the UK.
